The Personal Development of Stephen Kumalo

Abstract: A 5 page analysis of the protagonist of Alan Paton's 1948 novel Cry, the Beloved Country. The paper points out that Kumalo was already a faithful and devoted priest prior to the traumatic loss of his son, but his loss enabled him to learn new ways to put his faith into action.
