Two Paintings of Storm/Watteau and Delacroix

Abstract: A 3 page research paper that contrasts and compares two paintings of storms: one by Louis-Joseph Watteau (1731-1798) and the other by Eugene Delacroix (1798-1863). The writer describes both works and argues that the Watteau painting is more representative of the Neo-Classical style, while Delacroix's work is reflective of the sensibilities of the Romantic movement.
