William Seward

Abstract: A 9 page research paper that argus the thesis that William Henry Seward, Lincoln's Secretary of State, greatly aided the Union victory because he helped to prevent the one development that could have conceivably led to a Confederate victory during the Civil War, which was the involvement of a foreign power as a Confederate ally. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
