Currency Questions

Abstract: This 4 page papers answers 5 questions concerning economics and exchange rates. The first looks at the use of the j curve to explain balance of trade patterns following currency devaluation. The remaining questions consider the impact of currency movements and creation of equilibrium in the balance of payments, as well as looking at issues concerning the benefits and the disadvantages of fixed and floating exchange rates.
