Abortion is a Personal Decision

Abstract: In eight pages this paper argues that abortion is a personal decision that represents a respect for autonomy; presents a historical background on why abortion was criminalized in the first place and reveals this criteria no longer requires criminalization; and is supported by evidence that a fetus is not a human being and therefore abortion is a decision and not an act of murder; discusses how intrusion in the abortion issue is unconstitutional, a contention supported by the Supreme Court; discusses the practicalities associated with being allowed to make the personal decision to abort a fetus; and examines the anguish one woman experienced while considering abortion.
