Abstract: A 9 page research paper that examines the fact that the framework for labor relations laid down by the National Labor Relations Act of 1935 addressed the sociological and economical conditions of a different era. The writer argues that the underlying assumptions used to justify the 1930s labor laws are for the most part unrealistic in today's altered economic climate. Bibliography lists 8 sources.
