Going Negative / The Effect Of Negative Political Campaigns

Abstract: A 14 page paper that discusses the effects of negative campaigns on the electoral process. Specifically, the essay focuses on the results reported in Going Negative: How Attack Ads Shrink and Polarize the Electorate by Stephen Ansolabehere and Shanto Iyengar. Following an introduction that discusses the negativity of political campaigns, in general, the writer discusses the issues and conclusions as presented by Ansolabehere and Iyengar.
