The Quitting Rate Of Smokers: Why Cessation Is Better Than Other Methods

Abstract: 7 pages in length. There exist myriad methods to help people stop the undesirable habit of smoking; however, time has demonstrated that none have proven more effective than complete and total cessation, otherwise known as 'cold turkey.' As a means by which to prove this hypothesis, the writer discusses results from a hypothetical survey that was posed to a random sampling of thirty people who have already quit smoking by cessation only, as well as those who are in the midst of doing so.
