Abstract: An 8 page study of the works of Jesuit priests in Canada 1608-1773. The writer posits that the historical evidence refutes the theory that Jesuits led to disintegration of faith in Catholicism and proves this argument through a discussion of the political conflicts of the period and evangelical role played by the Jesuits.
