Abstract: 3 pages in length. One of the most advantageous conditions where a personal interview provides the most accurate and usable information for a study is when qualitative methodology is guiding the research. Unlike its quantitative counterpart, qualitative analysis strives to reach deep into the human element of the study's subjects and draw forth a more authentic reply from respondents. The inherent value of a personal interview for qualitative purposes is such that it incorporates more than merely a vacant sheet of data-filled paper or sterile telephone interchange; rather, it provides a well-rounded sensory interpretation the respondent typically offers without realization, a factor that serves to readily enhance the overall interview outcome.
