Emotional Expressiveness In Different Cultures

Abstract: 10 pages in length. Emotional expressivity is a common denominator among all cultures, however, the manner by which such emotion is expressed varies considerably from one culture to another. Based upon such variables as signs, symbols, gestures and postures, emotional expressiveness within a given culture is often wholly indecipherable for those outside that society; having grown up within a specific cultural atmosphere and being exposed to its sometimes-subtle nuances establishes the basis upon which different social factions express themselves.
