Guillain-Barre Syndrome: Case Report

Abstract: 6 pages in length. Considered both rare and potentially fatal, Guillain-Barre Syndrome is suspected to develop after certain vaccinations but most recognizably in the aftermath of a number of different viral and bacterial infections, particularly in the gastrointestinal region. Guillain-Barre - which impacts neurological function and causes limb weakness that typically starts in the legs and moves upward - has not historically been associated with the aftermath of dengue fever.
