RAP MUSIC AND PERPETUATION OF MISOGYNY

Abstract: This 7-page paper points out "gangsta" rap as a form of music that provides more than demaning lyrics and images. It shows how it can switch behaviors among adolescents, particularly African-American females. The paper also examines non-gangsta rappers who are trying different forms of music.
