Abstract: 5 pages in length. When assessing the rhetorical aspects of John F. Kennedy's inaugural address, it is important to not only focus upon the oration as a single entity, but also to separate it within its own boundaries. Indeed, while all the individual pieces come together to form the speech as a whole, it is with these components that President Kennedy is both eloquent and able to make his point.
