Influence Of Public Figures On Morality Of Youth

Abstract: The accepted view of the public figure has changed over time and the American public seems to be less demanding of moral turpitude and accountability for personal actions. This is in concert with a rise in youth crime and a seeming lack of responsibility for personal actions from the youth of America. This 5 page paper argues that the youth of America learn how to become adults through their perception of the actions of those they see as examples. A lack of accountability in the actions of public figures is not only noted but also emulated. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
