Abstract: This 3 page paper argues that utilitarianism is inadequate to explore the nuances of ethical thought. A humorous case study concerning Keebler elves is examined. The paper concludes that Kantian philosophy is a more practical and reasonable approach in making ethical decisions than is utilitarianism. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
