Abstract: 20 pages in length. Discusses the relationship the media plays in weakening the office of the U. S. Presidency. A major challenge for any public relations practitioner confronting an organizational crisis, disaster, emergency, or even serious problem is dealing with the broadcast media. Broadcast reporters, because of the nature of television coverage, its immediacy, competition and visual aspects, are the most visual of any media representatives. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
