Opposition To Drunk Driving

Abstract: 6 pages in length. Despite the tendency to be lenient with an individual's first DUI offense, there is absolutely no reason to extend anything but the full force of the law when drivers are pulled over - and subsequently arrested - for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. One only needs to look at the harrowing statistics to realize how drunk drivers do not deserve a second or third chance before they are finally dealt with as the criminals they truly are.
