Abstract: This 10 page paper examines the E.coli outbreak that occurred in the west at the Jack in the Box restaurants in 1993. What could have been done to prevent the outbreak is noted. Recommendations are made to prevent the spread of E.coli in the future. Bibliography lists 9 sources.
