Abstract: A 5 page paper examining the role of the US in the future world economy. It appears inevitable that the US is in the closing stages of its economic leadership, but neither is there a single country poised to take the lead. There is a single region, however; Asia will lead in the same way that the US has led until now. A strong and active US is vital to the world economy at present, but it will not remain in that position for more than a few decades. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
