Abstract: In 5 pages, the author discusses deforestation of the Amazon rain forest. The deforestation of the rain forest of the Amazon region of Brazil has been the topic of much discussion. It is the destruction of an important part of the environment. The deforestation of the Amazon rainforest, however, has also meant jobs and profit for the people of the area. This is quite a conundrum, which has no easy answers. Included is a free one-page Roman Numeral outline. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
