Visual Interpretation of Music

Abstract: 7 pages in length. So many areas of life where personal interpretation is key to fully appreciating an experience actually evoke an artificial response from people who - by virtue of the tendency to manipulate reaction without benefit of true sensation - are force-fed their perception. Music, like all other artistic renderings, requires an intrinsic interpretational response in order for listeners to gain the greatest level of appreciation; if that elucidation is fabricated by the wholly restrictive nature of music videos, people - most apparently youth - lose the ability to interpret through the imagery it creates.
