The new fight against terrorism in the criminal justice system is comprised of what many believe to be a wholly unconstitutional approach to an otherwise monumental problem. While critics acknowledge the growing need for tighter national security in order to forestall the otherwise inevitable terrorist retaliation, the manner by which this objective has been sought as of late broad-brushes the entire populace as potential terrorists and illustrates a blatant infringement upon personal rights and liberties.
