Serotonin And Violence: Literature Review

Abstract: 4 pages in length. The inhibitory properties of serotonin (5-HT) on aggression has been widely studied and deemed quite beneficial for addressing certain behavioral problems. The extent to which aggression responds to the presence of serotonin is both grand and far-reaching; that serotonin also serves to mitigate undesirable behaviors from other psychological disorders speaks to its comprehensive value in therapeutic treatment.
