The Effect of the Great Patriotic War on the USSR

Abstract: A 7 page research paper that examines the effects that the Great Patriotic War (WWII) had on the Soviet Union. The writer argues that it was this victory that convinced Stalin that the authoritarian policies of the 1930s were correct and provided him with justification for pursuing this sort of governance until his death.
