Abstract: A 5 page paper that defines the Gnostic Gospels, their origin, and the differences in religious beliefs between the Gnostic religion and conventional Christianity. A brief history of the Gnostic religion is presented, as well as the details of the discovery of the Nag Hammadi Library in Egypt in 1945. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
