Family Communication

Abstract: In the realm of the family, communication has been a subject that has occupied many social scientists. Because of the sexual nature of the current health concern, the issue of boundaries is very pertinent to a discussion of communication within the family concerning these and other issues. This 8 page paper examines a particular theory of communication: the Boundary Theory, then briefly looks at communication and the health issue of sexually transmitted diseases and concludes with a look at communication within the family and the occurrence of delinquency.
