Character Education

Abstract: 4 pages in length. It used to be that one's character was molded by the upstanding examples and life lessons passed down from one's parents; if an individual lacked moral fiber, it was often considered a failing on the parental part. Today, however, society has changed so drastically that children and youth are lucky to have even one parent available to prepare a school lunch, much less have the opportunity to be taught some of the most important lessons of good character. This task, therefore, has since fallen upon the educational system as a way in which to instill the necessary tenets of personal and social integrity. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
