Great Depression Effect On Gender Roles

Abstract: A 6 page paper that discusses the roles of men and women prior to the Great Depression and in the 1930s. The writer comments on the gender socializaion processes children experience from infancy beginning with their parents. During the Great Depression and the next decade, women were still able to find jobs because employers would not hire men and men would not accept jobs that were deemed to be female-type jobs Bibliography lists 4 sources.
