Howard Hughes

Abstract: This 12 page paper provides an overview of the life of movie mogul and industrialist Howard Hughes, who was born a child of privilege. As a young boy, Hughes watched his father's successes as a tool manufacturer and industrial developer and paid little attention to his education. Though he never graduated from high school, Hughes' father paid Rice University to allow him to attend classes. Upon his father's death when Hughes was 18, he inherited the family business, which would become the cornerstone for his own business empire. Biblography lists 5 sources.
