Planned Parenthood vs Casey

Abstract: A 6 page paper that discusses some of the ramifications of the Supreme Court decision reached in the case of Casey vs Planned Parenthood. While this court case was established for the purpose of merely upholding the Roe vs Wade decision several years back, what this case has done is make a religious issue out of a consideration for particular legal concerns. If taken at its word this case can easily pave the way for many individuals to act as they see fit, in regards to suicide and murder, on the grounds that it involves their personal sense of selfhood. Although this may seem very unlikely, the problem is that the courts addressed the issue in such a way as to leave the door wide open to just these types of possibilities.
