Spinal Cord Injury & Male Fertility

Abstract: A 24 page research paper that offers an extensive literature review that addresses studies concerning spinal cord injury men and their fertility. Traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) can result from a variety of accidents that include car accidents, falls, violence or sports-related activities (Brackett, 1999). Spinal cord injuries also frequently happen with young men, in the years when they would like to father children. Among the multiple medical challenges facing these young men is the inability to ejaculate via sexual intercourse (Brackett, 1999). This literature review explores the literature on this issue. Bibliography lists 26 sources.
