Divorce/3 Studies

Abstract: A 3 page research paper that summarizes and analyzes 3 studies dealing with divorce. Divorce has become commonplace in Western societies. The rationale behind divorce is that it is better for all parties involved, parents and children rather than having parents continue a dysfunctional relationship. This literature review briefly looks at three studies that examined the long-term effects of divorce. The results of these studies call into question the rationale that everyone involved benefits from divorce, focusing specifically on the effects of divorce and separation on mothers and their children. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
