Blake, Giovanni & Soto/3 Poems

Abstract: A 4 page essay that contrasts and compares poems by eighteenth century poet William Blake and modern poets Nikki Giovanni and Gary Soto. Examination of a representative poem from Blake, Giovanni and Soto shows that each of these poets, in his or her own individualistic manner, addresses how human beings deal with each other and how this affects the individuals involved.
