The Culture of Social Work

Abstract: The populations that influence the cultural make-up of the social work profession are threefold: Those who are members of the profession, those who are served by the profession and those who are not included in the first two. There are education and training requirements to enter the field of Social Work. This sets a barrier to entrance and insures a standard of expertise. This 10 page paper examines the 'culture' of the social work profession. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
