Abstract: A 5 page research paper that examines South Street in Philadelphia and how it has been impacted by urban renewal. The writer argues that the revitalization of Philadelphia has negatively impacted the ethnic populations of neighborhoods such as South Street causing the closing of ethnically-owned businesses and displacement.
