Abstract: A 4 page review of the causes of ADHD. The literature suggests that there is no specific etiology for ADHD and that medical tests cannot be used to definitively diagnose the condition. In the absence of specific diagnosis determining the cause of ADHD is difficult. There has been a correlation of ADHD and specific physiological and environmental factors, however.
