Advance Directives: The Personal Side

Abstract: 5 pages in length. The two advance directives in this case are a living will and a Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order, both of which ensure the individual is not kept alive via breathing apparatus or other artificial means. The importance of these advance directives is twofold: 1) To remove the decision from loved ones and relatives who are in no condition to make such a choice and 2) To respect one's quality of life.
