Friendship - Communication Processes

Abstract: A 9 page paper that discusses four questions related to a friendship. The first section briefly describes the friendship in question. The writer then discusses interdependence in personal relationships, in general, and relates the concept to this particular friendship being addressed. The Dialectical Theory of Friendship is described and used to examining the target friendship. How certain communication skills are used in the friendship are discussed. Finally, the writer identifies areas of communication that could be improved. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
