Democratic Citizenship: A Personal Theory

Abstract: A review of several of the most credible theories regarding democratic citizenry. The author reviews democratic citizenry from a multicultural framework, a framework which has varied significantly over the years. The works of Alex Tocqueville, W.E.B. DuBois, John Rawls, Kenneth M. Dolbeare, Seyla Benhabib, and William E. Connolly are each considered in this task. Bibliography lists 8 sources.
