The Greek Olympics

Abstract: The Greek Olympics: A 7 page paper discussing the nature of the original Olympic Games and their importance to the Greek culture. The Olympic Games after which the modern Games are patterned have come to us as a model reported only in fragments that have been widely scattered and at times contradictory. Though we cannot know all of the details of the Games as they were held in ancient Greece, we can surmise many points from the information we have and relate the importance of the Games to the higher ideals of Greek culture.
