Paralinguistic Features: A Review of Literature

Abstract: This 4 page paper relates the fact that a number of different theories reflect upon the nature of paralinguistic features in the development of English language skills for foreign learners. Adams, Orton, Gassin and Pillar all consider the factors that influence assessments of English language development in foreign learners related to efforts at teaching second language speaking skills in the classroom setting.
