The extent to which early Aegean cultures of Minoa and Mycenae aided the development of later Hellenic culture is both grand and far-reaching; indeed, it is quite difficult to imagine how two such important ancient Greek communities could improve upon cultural existence without having a tremendous impact upon later Hellenic culture.
