The Issue of Service User Rights in the Social Work Setting

Abstract: A 7 page overview of the many considerations which enter into the relationship between social worker and their client. Each of these clients have basic human rights which must be acknowledged if beneficial changes can be enacted. These rights include the right to service. Clients also have the right to be involved, or involve significant others, in their case assessment and planning for resolution. They have the right to control their own private property. They also have the right to privacy in regard to their personal information. The author utilizes a case worker
