Conveyed within the very brief yet very weighty poetic boundaries of William Carlos Williams' "The Great Figure" is a collection of images that reaches from one end of the social spectrum to the other. Touching upon the aspects of technology, futurism and the modern age just to name a few, Williams combines few words with tremendous imagery in order to articulate his vision of the future amidst that which exists in the present.
