EU Convention 2003: New Treaty

Abstract: 8 pages in length. Still a work in progress after several revisions of fundamental principles, the European Convention of 2003 continues to strike a balance between the history of a handful of countries that have enjoyed a "century-old constitutional continuity" (Koeck, 2002) and attempting to incorporate a newer, more diverse approach with those nations working toward making the EU a unified entity.
