Media Advocacy Campaign: AIDS

Abstract: 6 pages in length. The inherent impact of influence empowered within mass media is an endowment bestowed on only a limited number of social representatives. That media influence can both make or break a particular issue speaks to a level of power so fierce that, if not used in a favorable light, can literally destroy its focus of attention. Addressing the prevention of AIDS is one manner by which mass media have proven to be beneficial to contemporary society, inasmuch as myriad people can be reached through television, magazines, radio and other forms of popular culture.
