AIDS/HIV and the Third World

Abstract: An 18 page examination of the socio-economic factors which have translated into the AIDS epidemic in the third world. The author defines AIDS and HIV, describing their causes and potentials for societal address. Third world poverty and the social inequalities and inefficiencies (traceable partially to colonialism) which exist in these countries are blamed for this epidemic. Bibliography lists 20 sources.
