Making Presentations For Greater Learning

Abstract: An 8 page paper. The first part of this paper explains and discussions how to make an effective presentations so that participants will learn and be able to transfer their new knowledge to the workplace. This includes planning, preparation and tips for making the actual presentation. The writer comments on the importance of training employees. Two studies are discussed, one that looked at the effectiveness of orientation in the socialization of new employees and one that investigated the effect of personal characteristics in multistage training programs.
