Empiricism: The Only Truly Scientific Basis For Sociological Research

Abstract: 14 pages. Empiricism, which is defined as understanding through experience and interaction, has been a long-challenged concept when it comes to it being the only truly scientific basis for sociological research. Following upon the assertion that priori knowledge does not exist in relation to human behavior, the fundamental basis for empiricism is that events, feelings, etc. must first be experienced before they can be realized.
